TEE electives?

So who out there has a TEE elective? Is it in the setting of cardiac/cvicu or does anyone have a dedicated month of TEE?

one month of TEE your CA-3 yr is an option where I'm at. You do all of the TEE for the hearts, pre sternal saw for off-pump and pre-pump. Obviously again coming off-pump. Intra-op when needed. Also in SICU when needed. Have the option of hanging out with cardiology, but we never get our hands on the probe secondary to all of the fellows. Its one of those rotations where it largely user dependent for how much you get out of it.

We also have a dedicated TEE month during our third year. It is OR based. It is done in the OR.
