  1. Pre-Dental
Just curious who else in the pre-dent or dent community bleeches their teeth? I've been doing it for about a month and have seen pretty good results.

I'm about out of 15% carbamide peroxide, so I was just wondering what brands of gel or techniques you all like using? This stuff seemed to work pretty good, but it doesn't have a name on it. My dentist sold me some 16% night white, but I'm not really that impressed with it (and it was freaking spendy). I guess, what does everyone else do to keep their teeth coppier paper white all the time. It seems like when I bleech my teeth it only lasts maybe a day or two and then they don't look bright awesome white like when you first take the trays off. I want to keep my teeth like when I take the trays off at all times. Anways, not asking for a specific solution to my problem, but just curoius what everyone else does.

Anyone tried the 22% or 35% carbamide peroxide gel from sunshine auctions on ebay? I tried emailing me, but they refuse to tell me what the ingrediants are, so I'm still a bit skeptical to try it. Also what's the deal with remineralizing gels?

Sorry a bit off topic, and hopefully this doesn't sound like I'm asking for official dental advice. I'm just curious what others here, who I'm sure too are obsessed with white teeth, do.

Thanks

I use Crest Vivid White because I got it for free. My teeth were slightly yellow before and now they're not. My teeth aren't bright white, but I'm happy with the results - plus there is no extra time required on top of my normal brushing routine.

I tried 35% million dollar smile's gel. I've only used it a half a dozen times. It works ok..... I think if I use it for a month straight, I'll see good results. You can get it off of e-bay. It comes with one of those blue lights you hold up to your teeth to activate the chemicals.

I got it done in high school and had outstanding results; then came college, I started drinking coffee, now they're not so white

It destroys your gums, you can not brush your teeth for about four days. But it surely whitens your teeth and it is a must before an interview.

anything less than 20% is a little wimpy.

If you're going to go...go ALL THE WAY!

I have heard that the Oral B 9000 (or whatever) and crest vivid white will whiten a couple of shades.

If you whiten and the color decreases after a week, i would say to leave behind the coffee, smoking, cola, and brush with the oralB 9000 and a good toothpaste (crest vivid or similar) at least twice a day to keep that white IN and the brown OUT!

I have barfed all the knowledge of a freshman though...take it for what it is worth.

P.S. several people in my class have been brushing with the oral B brush we got and have noticed a nice dramatic improvment from just using that brush and crest vivid. 130 dollar toothbrush...for free! I have not powered mine up yet...but I should.

i think they do zoom or brite smile in el offices of the dad...ive never had it done though.

i use rembrandt toothpaste dunno exact name..but it works really well.

My teeth hurt so bad when I use them, any one else have the same problem?? I have tried crest and and oral B but they hurt like hell and I even get headache after using them. Is it normal or just my teeth are very sensitive???

Perhaps try a carbamide peroxide gel w/ a desensitizer, and use toothpaste for sensitive teeth.

I'm trying some 22% I borrowed from my mom right now. Much faster results, but I'm skepticle it will hold the white color any longer.

Maybe I'll grab some crest vivid white and lay off the soda for a while and see if that helps.

Why don't you guys just go to a dentist and get a whitening treatment lol. The result would be the best of all. How much does it cost anyway?

Rembrandt deeply white whitening mouthwash is fantastic

I've had the Zoom done. Worst pain ever afterward...worst than when I had my wisdom teeth removed. Seriously. 😉

I found Crest 3D white to be very effective and not irritating to my very sensitive teeth. I have also tried Rembrandt 2 hour whitening kit; you could see my smile a mile a way under black light but my teeth would hurt like hell afterwards.

I've done bleaching trays (overnight) and that **** burns. Like taking a hammer to your teeth.

For me it was like razor blades. I literally fell off a chair because of the pain. Hilarious now, not so much at the time.

Pola night 16% carbamide peroxide. Can use it for just an hour or so or overnight.. didn't find it to be too sensitive, and works great. I've never tried anything else... zoom sounds painful...

opalescence 35%. That what we use at the dental office we work at.

professionally whitened @my cosmetic dentist. crest white strips are for amateurs. my teeth glow in the dark. handy night light.

Are whitening trays bad for gums? The thing I worry about is gum recession.....I especially don't want gaps to appear between my teeth!
