Hey I am an international medical student. I wanted to know what sort of questions are we expected to answer during telephonic interviews conducted by places like MSKCC,Harvard,etc for elective rotations?

They're likely simply assessing your English skills and what prior training you've had.

I had the interview with MSKCC. They will basically ask you the reasons for your elective choices which you would have given in your application and what sort of work did you do during your rotatons in your medical school.
