i graduated with a 3.1 gpa i messed up my sophomore and junior years because i worked two jobs all through college to pay my bills and couldnt find a good balance, my senior year i went up and had a 3.45 gpa

i took the mcat and got a 26 and then retook it and got a 24....my physics went up which was the bad part of my first one but the verbal and biology portions went down...

i want to apply do if i cant go here i will go to the caribean i will do anything to be a doctor!

i work now in a doctors office i have shadowed and volunteered in a hospital for a semester i also was part of the pre medical fraternity and did fundraising and volunteer work through them i threw my own american cancer society fundraiser also.

i am now in graduate school at queens college trying to get my masters in biology and to show that i can take hard science courses and do well. We've only had one test in each class but I have a 90 average in all and am taking biochemistry immunology and cell bio

please let me know my chances or advice on what i should do?!

should i take another mcat
should i do more extracurricular
should i just focus on my masters
should i only apply to caribean
orrrr should i just give up 😕

Yes, but only after you fix all your deficits that led to such poor performance.

should i take another mcat
Always good, expeically patienct-contact related

should i do more extracurricular

You should be able to walk and chew gum at the same time. For DO programs, the MCAT is problematic, not the GPA.

should i just focus on my masters

You can do better!

should i only apply to caribean

I don't think it's time yet.
orrrr should i just give up 😕[/QUOTE]
