Hi, I'm a medical student but our university system is lil bit different. I'm a first year student and last month we started our second semester. Our first semester was easy and all about science, but this semester is lil bit different. We started taking anatomy, physiology, embryology, histology, first aid, community medicine, biochemistry and university requirements. I'm in a great stress now studying all these and I can't study them. At uni I say when I get home I'll study well. But when I go home I don't really study. I spend my day chatting and hanging around. Even if I sat facing my books I just can't concentrate and I feel really bored. Just tell me what to do. I love medicine so freaking much and I can't imagine myself studying anything else but I just can't study. what to do !!

Stop studying in an environment where you have distractions. I used to study in my home all the time and I did well, but once I started studying in the library, I did great. There's a huge difference. It's hard to let go of your comfort zone, but you gotta do it. Once you try it, you'll get used to it.

You've somewhat said something contradictory - you're bored of studying yet you enjoy medicine and don't want to study anything else. I can't help you with that, but I'd start with getting rid of your distractions.

I'll second this. Unless you can actively force yourself to avoid distractions studying at home, you need to migrate somewhere that won't lend itself to as many distractions like the library or study-lounge.
