What is good to talk about for the question, "tell us something that wasn't included on your application" ? Thanks in advance.

Sounds more like "What have you done since you submitted your application?"

So have u just sat around and done nothing or have you continued to work, be involved with dentistry thru work, shadowing or just reading news on the ada website, etc. I see this question as them asking how do you remain focused in the field of dentistry while you wait for interviews. I went to a pre dental asda event at uop and worked more at the dental office as a DA. And completed some more dental technique courses offered by UCLA dental school.

I actually didn't use that interpretation of the question at all. I used it as literally, "what was something that wasn't on your application?" -- something that makes you ridiculously unique but you just can't include it on your app somewhere...maybe like certain experiences that were important in your life, but you didn't want to write about it because you didn't want those experiences to define you as a candidate. I stuck with whatever was unique about me, but I couldn't include for whatever reason.

Good luck though, I'm sure you'll figure out something great to say--whether it was an experience, or it'd be a great chance to talk about something different you've done since you submitted your application as LBJ6 was recommending!

👍 - that works too! Hahaha. Yea, good thing the question is vague so that the applicant can interpret it many different ways to provide unique answers for the interviewer. Id assume that it may be boring for the interviewer to expect the same wild stories all the time. Both interpretations are something that could work. I"m sure there are more out there! good luck!

I like to talk about my hobbies that didn't make it on my application. For example, I'm a marathon-runner and a triathlete, but there was nowhere to write that on my application. (It's not a professional experience, not a volunteering experience, not really part of an organization, didn't talk about it in my personal statement, not sure if it was mentioned on my LORs).
