I just ended my thank you (only at my top choices), with, "now, I eagerly await the match results with hopes of working with you/matching at your program in the future." This should not influence their ranking of you, since they hear it all the time. They rank you depending on how you scored on their interview, your application packet, and letters of recommendation. If you are genuinely interested in the program, write thank you cards. I have heard that some programs do not even receive these handwritten thank you cards until after the match is over, but it is the right thing to do. Ultimately, if you like any of the programs you have interviewed at, you hope to match at their program. You do not have to specify where they are on your rank list, but it truly is a privilege to match anywhere at this point. The market is flooded. Good luck 🙂
