i am very unfamiliar with philly. I would like to live in the city area, where I can take a quick and easy subway ride to the dental school. Any recommendations on what street/building would be convenient? Any advice on the living situation would be great, both in the city and outside it. Thanks

I would say try to live as close to Broad Street as possible. The subway that stops at the dental school runs along Broad Street. I would scan craigslist for apartments or houses with roommates in fairmount, washington square west, avenue of the arts and maybe south philly depending on how far away you want to live from school. High rises are usually more expensive, but there are a number of them on broad street. Good luck and feel free to send me a private message if you have any more specific questions!
