Just got back from my interview at temple. Have to say, I'm very impressed with the facilities (aside from the weight room.... a little small and in the basement of the student union). Faculty were really impressive from diverse fields too. The actual interview was really short. We were only asked two questions each. Why PT? and the next question was different for everyone, mine was "how do you cope with stress". The rest of the interview time was spent us (6ish applicants) asking them questions (we had 2 profs and 2 students as interviewers). Overall, I think temple has moved up on my list after the visit. The area isn't as bad as people have made it out to be. The immediate surrounding area is quite safe actually, and most of the time it's about using common sense and not putting yourself in a dangerous situation. I hear back from Temple about a final decision in 3 weeks ... eek!.
O also, there were a total of 35 applicants present today and Dr. Carp said that at this point, they've received over 1000 applications (he also said that they were received the second highest number of apps last year, second to USC). Hope this helps other pple out there and good luck to everyone else!
