Hi, for those of who already gone through temple's secondary...
I was filling my secondary application from temple and there is a

Section II: Application Disclosure. They ask applicant
I hereby authorize Temple Univerisity Kornberg School of Dentistry to discuss my application in its entirely with...
1. Anyone who inquires about my application
2. No one
3. Limited to the individuals listed in the section provided

If I choose 2. No one
Does this mean that they are not going to review my application?
or simply they are not going to share my application/info with any third party?
Thank you in advance for your input!

It means it won't be published in the school newspaper.

Thank you for your reply. So this means it will not hurt my application even if i check 2. No one right?

They will still review your application if you marked "no one". If you mark "no one" it means if some alumnus or a dentist or a faculty member your dad's brother's mother-in-law knows calls and asks about your application, they can't say anything to them about the status of your application.

It sounds like they get a lot of calls and inquiries about applications from people that think they can influence the decision making. "Hey Brian, my buddy's son is applying. Great kid! He has a 2.5GPA, but I know he's smart!" If you say "no one", they can't respond to the person until they get your permission, which is a pain. Marking "anyone who inquires" is the best thing to mark. It doesn't mean they're going to publish it or post your application on the front door for all to see. It just saves them the hassle of contacting you to get you permission in case someone does inquire.

i dont think it changes anything if you put down everyone or no one. this cannot affect your application adversely.

It has no effect on your application. The previous posters are correct. They have it in there for when students/faculty/alumni approach Admissions/Brian Hahn about a particular applicant. By allowing them to discuss it with anyone you will most likely get the best feedback and "what are my chances." Trust me, I'm a student dentist! 😛
