Received Temple secondary 8/14; AMCAS was verified on 7/14. Esaay question was along the lines "What interests you in Temple..." Not too bad, lots of info on their website. Good Luck!
I don't think there is a specific char/word restriction. The app is pdf, you can submit online I think, but I downloaded it, filled out in adobe and mailed. They give you a considerable amount of space, about 3/4 to 1 page typed.
