Can any Temple University School of Pharmacy Students please let me know at what year in the profesional program that a criminal bckground check is initiated?

Yes I made a dumb mistake for which I am not proud.

But I was wondering if TUSP does that early (i.e. the white coat ceremony) or just before P4 rotations.

It will help me greatly if someone could juat take 2 mins to let me know. I am working to get charges removed from my docket that were Nolle Prossed.

im not from temple but from the looks and sounds of it:
a) your handle/screename is pretty stupid. its obvious that a lot of people want to go into pharmacy for the money but you dont have to be so blatant. its people like you that make it hard for people who actually care about being a pharmacist to get into school. 😡
b) maybe you shouldnt have "made a dumb mistake" in the first place. making a mistake as a pharmacist due to immaturity has greater consequences than a simple criminal charge. 👎
c) why dont you ask the college of pharmacy at temple, are you afraid they will suspect something and not allow you in? :scared:

It's a handle. Get a grip.

If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all. Your response to this forum, considering you don't attend Temple, demonstrates your arrogance and desire to intrude where you are not wanted.

I may have made a mistake, but at least I don't try to incite people on here.

i dont see where you are getting the arrogance idea from and im not intruding on anything. i am simply giving my opinion and for just about the last 200 years or so, the first amendment has been a right that hasnt been denied to any american citizen. but nice try and for being an idiot you get a big 👎

your post has been reported

your opinion is not welcome in this post, as the thread subject clearly states

You must be one of those people who likes to insult people online. I bet you wouldn't say insulting things to people's faces.

whatever dude, report all you want. im not too worried about it. think about it..... you're overreacting but i guess thats probly what got you into trouble in the first place.

Nope, you would be incorrect. Reporting disrupting posts such as yours is the appropriate reaction. No one needs to be harrassed on here by people like yourself. I did not insult you, yet you felt the need to insult me. Perhaps you have some inner deficiency that makes you lash out at people. Thanks anyway.

And it is people like YOU who give the profession a bad name.

But hey, I'm quite sure you will find someone else to insult. After all, it takes a tough typer to stir up trouble on an otherwise friendly forum.

i will choose not to waste my time on you anymore. i said to you good day

I do not attend Temple, but since no one has responded to your post, I'll tell you how its done in Texas. If you apply to be a pharmacy intern, The State Board of Texas performs a background check following your first year in pharmacy school. Then they do another background check before your fourth year rotations. If you have any blemishes 😉 or concerns on your record you can write a letter to the State Board explaining the situation in detail. Then they make their decision. I do not think the College of Pharmacy that you attend has any say after they have already accepted you into their program. Once again, this is how it is done in Texas, and I'm not quite sure how your State/ School will handle this situation, but it can't be that different. Good luck and I hope this helps. 🙂

Thank you so very much for your information. It's comforting to know that there are still people out there whose first instinct is to help others instead of to insult others. After all isn't that what pharmacists are supposed to do?

You are incorrect once again....you never said good day to me. But it is good to know that you are leaving. Did you run out of insults?

I beleive that "I said to you good day" is a quote from Fez on "That 70s Show"
