Does anyone know how the interview is like? The office told me it’ll be from 9am till 2pm. Any tips and advice?

It’s not bad. You arrive by 8:30 I believe it was. Then you have a presentation first where they explain the program. The school and finances etc. then you do a tour, have lunch then your individual interview. depending on when you’re called for the interview, you may be done earlier than the stated time.

The interview was recorded and was just you and one other person. You had to pick a random card and read the question to the camera and answer. Then the person asked a few questions and that was it. Very short.

Hope this helps! Best of luck. I personally wasn’t a fan of the school or program but you may feel different. Just be yourself & you’ll do great!

I didn’t like the school itself. Too old. The students & staff were very unfriendly. Staff was unprofessional. Students giving the tour for the program couldn’t answer half the questions we had.

as for the program, I didn’t like the fact that you were gonna pay 30,000 dollars and not receive a certificate.. nothing. I didn’t like how you weren’t guaranteed an interview AT the school. Plus they didn’t have a high success of admittance to my top choice of dental school which was Nova. I was accepted into this program but declined and accepted a spot into Nova’s MBS program that guaranteed me a seat in their dental school after one year. It made more sense for me.

Oh, I see. I agree, plus the 5k deposit is sorta killing me already... lol. Is this the MBS Program you're talking about? : Master of Biomedical Sciences Degree | College of Medical Sciences | NSU

Oh yes! I forgot about that too. Yea a 5k NONrefundable deposit was another no no for me.

& yes! That’s the one. It’s well worth the money. You’re actually taking D1 courses instead of dental assisting courses like the temple program.
 
Has anyone who scheduled an interview receive an email regarding details about the interview?

I haven’t! But I asked David when I scheduled my interview date and he said sometime next week... but it has been two weeks. Hopefully they send it out soon!

No. I believe they have done a writing portion in the past. But idk if was just the day I interviewed or for this program entirely, but they didn’t have the writing portion when I went. It might be just strictly for the Dental school itself. But don’t rule out entirely the possibility of a writing portion.

There were interviews yesterday and today. If anyone attended, how was it? 🙂
 
I just saw this thread now. I’ll be seeing you guys tomorrow for the interview as well. Someone who is in the dmd program told me it’s a panel interview now. We shall see..

2 years ago it was you just talking in front of a camera for ~6 minutes. You could talk about anything.
Last year, it was a 1-on-1 interview and it was recorded. I'm assuming its the same this year.

I should have checked this sooner, was yours in the mail or email? I didn’t think they would send them out so soon I was expecting them this week. I have not heard anything yet.
