I recently got accepted into Temple and Case. I need to make a decision by mid. Feb. I know Temple has great clinical training program. but for those who want to specialize, I am not sure if it is a good choice because the residents at temple will have priority to those patients who need more advanced treatment. Case's PBL model is pretty new, but I dont know much about their clinical program.

Any advices? 😕

I have not interviewed at Case but the "because the residents at temple will have priority to those patients" is common place at most schools. In fact you should appreciate this, because those particularly difficult cases are beyond the scope of a dental student and need to be handled by a specialist. In private practice such cases would also get referred to a specialist, so dont look at that as such a negative. GL with your decision. 👍
