Hey guys, am having a hard time choosing which to rank first, Temple at philadelphia, or Kumc at kansas city.
I live in philly, and I really like the city. But at the same time am looking for the program with excellent reputation and clinical training. I know kumc is better program, but is it better to a point that make me leave the city and freinds (is it top teir?), it is ranked 23 in us news, but that is not the best ranking method available for fellowship. I think am doing interventional. Am looking for some help and ideas. What would u do if u were in my shoes.?

I don't see a substantial difference between Kansas and Temple (except that the location for Temple is infinitely better). Are you thinking of UMKC?

The only thing better about UMKC is its status as one of the premier centers for cardiovascular outcomes research in the United States. Clinically there is little difference. If you want to practice interventional cardiology in the Northeast and are interested in private practice, go to Temple.
