Hey everyone, is there any of you (RxLea, Z, Prazi, etc) that could provide your institutions policy in using terbutaline (or even topical NTG) as an alternative for phentolamine? We have seen the steil, et al. article (-Am J Emerg Med. ( http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/9928712# ) 1999 Jan;17(1):91-4.) before and it was not very useful as it was essentially 4 case studies. Any better evidence out there? I've tried the major journal searches and can't seem to find anything else relevant.

Thanks!!

feel free to PM me if you have anything, and thanks RxLea for reminding me about this (I had not really pursued looking into it any further since the regitine shortage began)

K I checked and no protocol. I can check with the site I rotated at...that's where I learned about it.
