Hi Everyone,

The school I attended was on a term system (5 terms during the academic year, 8 weeks each). Instead of semester hours we have units, with 1 unit = 8 hours of instruction/TERM.

Since this is different from a quarter system, I was wondering how I would go about converting this to semester hours? If anyone knows of a website with information about how to convert, I would GREATLY appreciate it!

Ask AACOMAS about this because I've never heard of it before. In the case of converting quarters they multiply by 2/3. In your case maybe they multiply the units by 2/5?
