terrible community col GPA go university GPA

Ok so i went to a community college and graduated with a 3.1 gpa as a liberal arts major, financial problems caused me to do bad. But then i went to stony brook university and have a 3.8 as a biochem so my question is should they look at the 3.1 or will they for the most part disregard it?

They see everything you ever did in any college. (edit:because you are required to tell them)

The community college grades and the SUNY grades will all get put together to make your GPA for your medical school application.
