So, I'm already starting to feel the pressure even though I still have 3 weeks left. I'm really paranoid that i'm not going to be prepared well enough when test day rolls around, but at the same time, I don't want to jump the gun and postpone my test (since it's already at the end of July).

So here's my situation: I've covered Cliffs AP bio (picking away at the kaplan's bluebook bio section for good measure) and more or less finished the gchem section in the kaplan blue book as well. I know that people have been mentioning that the ochem section is way easier than the college courses, but I'm still worried (didn't do too well in ochem in college 😳).

The problem is I still haven't even covered QR (this section will annihilate me I know it), RC or the PAT (not thoroughly anyways). I plan on taking nothing but practice tests along with some reviewing during the last week, so it in essence gives me only 2 weeks to learn everything else.

I've been doing OK on Topscore (~18-20s for bio and gchem) and have been learning a lot through the bio destroyer section, but still, the pressure is hounding me to no end.

Please let me know if I'm panicking over nothing since I feel like I have a long ways to go 🙁

I'm really concerned since the DAT will essentially make or break me for this cycle -__- (I know the best option for me is to get at least 22 for TS and/or AA)

Thanks everyone!

I think your progress looks good man! My DAT is also in three weeks, so I feel the pressure just a bit too. Next week Ill be memorizing OC reactions, memorizing some Bio stuff, and drilling GC. The following week will be destroyer to the MAX. Then Im taking one more Topscore test and reviewing any questions I got wrong.

Thats my strategy. Yours seems fine too, just make sure to start practicing PAT, QR, and OC. Sometimes you dont know how little you remember until you start reading the material. Good Luck bud and Im sure you will rock tha DAT!

Study really hard for the next 2 weeks and see where you are after that...you can postpone your test date up to days before the test.

My guess is that you'll be more than ready after 2 more weeks of hardcore studying...good luck.

I agree, you will be fine as long as you continue to study hard core. I'm taking mine on July 19th so I share your concern. The approach I'm taking is to make a list of what you want to accomplish, and just make sure to get it done/memorized. We should keep eachother in check for the next 3 weeks lol. I'm hoping for a 22 as well. We can do it!!!!!!!

I'm also retaking in three weeks (22nd). Its unfortunate because i was slumping this whole week and had no motivation to study. I guess that is just the process of studying...some weeks you feel it some weeks you don't. I'm planning to get back on track starting Monday however. Any ideas how to keep the fire burning?

Take an achiever test and bomb it. Now imagine that as your DAT score. Thats all the motivation you need IMO.

Topdent and Nucking - I'm in the same boat as you guys, taking my DAT on the 22nd. I just finished my Kaplan course yesterday, so now its all on me to do independent studying. My resources are Kaplan, Crack PAT, and Topscore.

Its going to be hard because I have friends coming in town next weekend for the 4th, so theres like 3 days where I'm not going to get any studying done. I'm about to go look over my Kaplan midterm and look at all the answers, whats right and why, whats wrong and why.
