After taking the boards several weeks ago questions keep coming in my mind and I am so frustrated because there was stuff I knew but in the moment I had brain freeze or was overwhelmed and picked the wrong answer (looked up right answer after exam). Did this happen to anyone else ? I am under a lot of pressure to pass this exam and it's really wearing me down the waiting and thinking and I grow more dreary and pessimistic as the days go by and I remember more questions that I got wrong !

We all feel the same way (or at least I do). It doesn't help that I know several people who needed to retake this thing.

I try to remind myself it's not step 1, or even the MCAT. A failure ends no careers, it just means embarassment, more studying, and flushing more money. That's it. Just another 10k and another 500 hour towards a profession that has already taken orders of magnitude more than that from me. In the grand scheme of things it wouldn't be a big deal.

Agreed, everyone who takes the test feels the same way. Remember everyone has some amount of performance anxiety when it comes to Boards. Everyone feels the time and study pressure and thinks of questions that you might have missed but knew the answer to.

I failed and I'm out of the game... Board non eligible... I guess it's botox and fillers for my patient's parents.
