I took the Step 2 CS in december and I was so confident that I failed. For my entire interview season, I would have trouble sleeping thinking about all the mistakes that I made. Sure enough, the anxiety affected my performance during the interviews. I was not as enthusiastic as I could have been and the anxiety definitely hurt some of my interviews.

Sure enough I passed today. Don't let this bull**** test affect your interview season in the future. I know the season is over but for those third years who are going to apply. Take the test early or late as possible and don't check the auto score release.

Sorry to hear your suffering, I'm taking the CS Mar 15, am anxious now, not sure to take the Kaplan liveprep( classroom setting ) or the live online. What's your advice? Shall I take the Kaplan 1 day practice exam? It is $999, lot of money, wounder if worth it.

$999 for a practice exam?! Seriously?! I think that's insane. If you are an AMG, speak English, and have common sense, I would just study for a bit, have a decent idea of how to go through the cases/patient encounters, and go take the darn thing. I think it's insane to pay almost 1k for a practice exam!
