As a student, I've always been very sensitive to the format of a tests given in a class. I always seem to do much better on multiple choice-format tests than on open-response tests, especially in sicence. This seems to be because multiple-choice tests allow me to see if i've made a mistake in my calculations: I have made a mistake, the answer won't be among the options. In open-response format, I don't have this luxury.
To cut to the chase: are there any postbacc programs where most of the exams are given in multiple-choice format?
