hey everyone!!
so my test is in 2 days and im well on my way to going insane with the stress!! i have a couple questions for those who have taken the actual dat and preparations that last couple days before the actual exam...
anyone have tips on reviewing? i've heard some people say that you shouldn't study the day before the test but in all my years of schooling i was always used to studying up to the last minute. is that something that you think would actually hurt me?
i've taken all 3 topscore tests and my scores fluctuate between 18-20 for the sciences and consistently 19 for the reading comprehension and 20 for pat. however i've neglected to put much time into the quantitative reasoning until 3 days ago when i started going through math destroyer. the questions are definitely tough but doable and ive seen an increase in scores. any tips for the quant section? did anyone take the 15 minute break after the PAT section to set up their sheet for reading and quant? what about skipping the hard questions on quant, finishing the easy ones (which im guessing are the majority) and saving the hard ones till the end? has anyone tried that? i was thinking that might be beneficial to me as i tend to spend too much time trying to solve problems that i end up getting the wrong answers to in some cases.
thanks for any input, as you can tell im very nervous and hoping that the three months of hard work is going to pay off
