with the recent posts on how long the question stems are, would it still be a good idea to read the last sentence of the question and quickly skim the answer choices before reading the entire question?...or would this just throw you off time wise?

Well, IMO it's a good idea to very quickly glance over the answer choices to try to categorize the question type. If you see quotations in the answer choices you can bet you're dealing with an ethics/patient-doctor relationship type question. If you see a bunch of drug names, then it's a pharm question. If you see a bunch of disorders, behavioral science. That way when you read a stem that's full of clinical findings you can sorta focus on the ones you need most. Afterall you don't wanna read a stem and start thinking of all the pathophysiology if in the end all you have to do is identify the best quotation answer.

As for reading the last sentence first... I only did that on the really super long question stems.

Took it yesterday. The question stems arent that long at all. I didnt even notice a difference between UW and the length of the test questions.

I dont know what everyone has been up in arms about. Sure there were a few questiosn in the 336 that were long. There was only a single question i can remember where I had to scroll down.

Totally agree. The stems are almost identical to UW length. Some are ultra short, and I only had a few that were just crazy long. Don't even sweat it.
