Texas Acceptances?

So, I heard somewhere that the schools applied to through TMDSAS were going to start forming an acceptance list in like October or November and that we would be able to have access to said list. Does anybody know if this is true or if we will indeed be able to find out prior to dec.1st if we are accepted yet or not?

i highly doubt that...the only way i've heard of ppl knowing if they are on these lists is if they know someone at the school who can find out for them

I haven't heard about such a list. I emailed Baylor and was told that they don't meet to review all the interviewees for deciding who gets acceptance letters Dec 1 until late Nov.

Guidelines set forth by the American Dental EducationAssociation (ADEA) state that dental schools cannot notify applicants in writing or orally of a provisional or final acceptance before Dec 1. Since Texas schools utilize the AADSAS service ( along with TMDSAS), they must follow their rules. The rule has been Dec 1 for at least a dozen years.
