License renewal for Texas dentists - On the board's website - it says 12 CE credits are needed, 8 need to be technical/scientific and only 6 can be self study (Examples of self-study courses include interactive courses, correspondence courses, video courses, audio courses, and reading courses.) I was wondering does that mean the other 6 need to be live? What do live webinars or E-courses fall into? I see all these online webinars claiming to be live CE credits - so I was a little confused.
