I have a basic question about establishing residency in Texas. Been searching for a while, and yet can't find an answer.
Texas Residency Information can be found at tmdsas. Sorry, I don't have enough posts yet to link.
I want to do my post bacc in Texas, but work there first for a year to establish residency. If I move to Texas sometime between May and July of 2018, I would plan on starting the post bacc in the Fall of 2019.
My question is this...Do I need to have worked a year in Texas prior to application deadlines? Or prior to the first day of the school term to receive residency for admissions and tuition purposes? Because I might be at around 10 - 11 months of working by application deadlines, and will be over 12 months by the start of term. This isn't made clear anywhere I've looked.
Thanks.
