hey. i just took the exam yesterday and passed. here are some questions i remember. i feel for us since it is sooo long and dull.

-partner dies, how many days/ months till you have to take his name off the sign? 1 year
-have 72 hours to report someon'e death if you kill them(my personal fav-why not sooner???)
-DA can do sealants if dentist is medicaid provider or practices in underserved area
-records are property of the dentist
-each dental office has to post degree of dentist, name, and received by at or near entrance
-the dental hygienist doesn't diagnose or tx plan or prescribe meds-only "reversible" procedures
-dentist can delegate a hygienist to work if hyg. has at least 2yrs experience and it is a school based health center or nursing home
-council of labs:cannot be a dentist
-can't be on board if absent for over half of the board meetings
-dental hygienist must be at least 18 yrs. old
-if license has expired for 1 yr or more, then can't renew it...must reapply for it

hope this helps guys and girls. good luck.

btw, madentist. how long do you think i need to study for the exam. i just ordered the studying materials today. i want to schedule with prometric and get the ball rolling.

at least a couple of days. i gave myself a week b/c with all the legal mumbo jumbo, i kept falling asleep after 3 or 4 pages. maybe your ADD won't be as bad as mine, but i found it very boring and extremely long.
for some reason, maybe b/c i couldn't remember the answers, there seemed to be quite a few time line questions:6months, 2 months, 3months, etc.

good luck. we should get a medal for taking it. everything could be easily shortened to a concise 15 page booklet. oh well.
good thing is you know your score immediately and can retake it ASAP if you fail.
