Hi,
can someone who took Texas MPJE this year and passed tell me what material they used to study? I am from georgia..so I know nothing about Texas pharmacy law. I am looking for book and quiz bank that will have similar material and questions of what we will be tested on MPJE. Also, any recommendation on federal section will also be helpful. I tried to look online but couldnt find any direct answers. Thanks a bunch!

The Sarah fishuk book is good as well as Gary Cacchitore 59 page review. I'm from out of state too like you and knew nothing of Texas law. Just used those 2 things and studied 10 days on and off and I passed with 86. Be sure to focus on classes of pharmacies, know how long to keep records, and licensing questions. Also know how many members make up the board. The exam seemed like hell taking it but I did great. Best of luck to you

Hey if you use the two resources suggested I recommend that you go through and update some of the information because there are certain things that have changed (e.g. the number of board members, pharmacy and tech ratio in a class A pharmacy, etc) I used the Caccitore (sp?) and Brinkley book and read it all the way through. Took approximately 2 weeks. Best of luck to you

Just found out I passed with a 100. Seriously, a 100. I used the latest Cacchiatore/Brinkley law book, the old Cacchiatore 59 page handout and the new handout from the Law Symposium.

What is the latest edition of Cacchiatore/Brinkley law book? 8th edition or 9th???
