At least that what one of the program advisors in the department told me. She said that starting with the 2006 class, the program will be a Master's Program and have a set of new prereqs to be able to apply. Give them a call and get all the details. Good luck!

That's the word on the streets...

This will make all the PA schools in Texas master's level PA programs:

-University of Texas Medical Branch-Galveston
-Baylor College of Medicine-Houston
-Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center-Midland
-The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio
-University of North Texas-Fort Worth
-University of Texas, Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas

soon to follow...
-University of Texas-Pan American at Edinburg

With all the Texas programs going to Masters how difficult will it be to get a job in Texas with a certificate?
