I started this thread because most Texas applications are going to become available in the next week. I guess people can create threads for separate schools, but since most of us are going to apply to more than one, this could be a common thread for us.

I'll go first... I'm going to apply to UT, Tech, A&M, UH, and Incarnate Word. I'm currently working on my essays for the undergrad transfer stuff that UT requires for people who do undergraduate work at a different school.

I'm going to apply to UH, Texas Tech, A&M, and UIW.
I haven't done any ps yet but I should be done with them by early to mid-October.

I'm pretty much applying all the schools in the Texas except TSU (still deciding on that one).
I will start the UT undergrad application this weekend.
The application journey begins :scared:...

Why don't anyone choose to apply to TSU?

I think TSU has at least 4 different pre-reqs that I have to take if I want to apply to their school. For example. if you take physics in another school they require that you take two semesters of it ( I hate physics! There's no way you can make me take another semester of it! 😡) but if you take it in TSU you only have to take one semester. Those classes will take me at least another year before I can apply and I don't want to wait another year. I think TSU set up their admission requirements like this because they don't want to be considered only as a back up school. They only want people who consider TSU as their top choice.

With other schools their pre-reqs vary only by one or two classes which I can squeeze in my schedule. UIW also has a slightly different set of pre-reqs so I'm actually having a second thought about applying there. I will call them about the pre-reqs and my decision will depend on their answer.

I'm applying to all of the Texas pharmacy schools. I won't be taking the PCAT until October . Is it too late? I really want to get into Texas Tech. Does anyone know if I have to wait to take the PCAT then wait for my scores to get back to be able to submit my application? Or can I submit my application then wait for my scores?

I'm pretty sure you can submit now, and let them know you're taking it in Oct. They may not fully look at your app now, but it's better to get everything in sooner rather than later. Some schools may go ahead and look at it now, and just wait until the PCAT scores to actually make a decision.

Im about to begin my applications for A&M, Tech, and UT.

That's in order of preference too.
