Is there an advantage to gettinn an earlier interview (say by about a month)? I'm asking specifically about the texas schools, because they won't send out their decisions until february. I just wondered if they pick more people from the earlier interview or save space for the later ones.... I'd really like to know the scenario for out of state applicants because the school can accept so few out of state applicants.

Earlier is better in TX, however, plenty of people get in through late interviews. Outstanding stats will always stand out. Average stats will look worse as the the application cycle drags on.

My bother applied very late, but he had a 3.8/36. Schools almost always leave a few spots open for highly qualified "stragglers". A 3.5/30 needs to get their paperwork in early.

ouch, I'm still getting my apps completed and won't know for a while on MCAT score. To self: "I will finish TMDSAS this weekend!!!"
