Wrapping up residency now and have some book fund money left. Wanted to spend it on text(s) for my upcoming cornea fellowship. Someone told me Krachmer but I wanted to throw this out there to see everyone's thoughts.

Thanks.

I used the Krachmer text during my fellowship. Overall I thought it was pretty good. I actually ended up reading most of it and it serves as a good reference to look stuff up. Some things are a little out of date, like most textbooks, but it's good for giving you a nice, broad knowledge base. I also had the Krachmer atlas, which is also good.

A 3rd edition of Krachmer's Cornea book came out last year, so it should be pretty up to date (as far as textbooks go).
