Hey everyone, I just visited a dental school with my predent group. The dean came and spoke to us. I was wondering if it would be wise to send an e-mail to the dean saying thank you because, although I am appreciative, I would also like to just get my name out there. I will be applying next summer for entrance in 2014 so it still may be a little early. Any advice?

maaan...id get my name out there A.S.A.P. dentistry is about relationship building and you never know who's looking or who you'll meet (again).

on one interview of mine, i brought up an educational event i'd attended at that particular school more than NINE years before. no he did not remember my name (because i didn't keep in touch), yes he did remember the event and yes it did give me a shoulder up in making contacts AND rubbing elbows with the important people who love that kinda stuff.
