After interviewing at a program, is it appropriate to write a thank you note to the Program director only, or do you have to write something to everyone who interviewed you?
Thanks!

I think it is nice to write to everyone, although some of my interview days include upwards of 6-7 people. I also don't know whether email is acceptable or it is preferable for a good old signed letter. Still weighing the best option personally. For the interview I did already I sent written letters by us mail, but not sure if I want to continue that for the rest...

At the programs I was interested in, I send thank you letters to each person I interviewed with as well as the program director. Even though it is a pain to do, I think it's a good idea; it makes you look thoughtful and it gets your name in front of the faculty again.
