does anyone have any tips for writing a thank you card, post-interview?

like, thank you for a wonderful interview, and you made me feel so comfartable....blah blah blah? i want to come there so bad....please i need you....? jk

anything else? 😳

thank you for your time.

okay seriously....

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to visit <schoolname>. I really enjoyed it....or something along the lines of i was impressed by the program and the professors made me feel at home...i can't wait to become part of <school> family.....something along those lines...

Generally most people on here will tell you to just forget about the thank you cards...this isn't the same world as the business world where such things are common if not expected.

but if you have to write something...try to recall something you talked about and mention it in the letter.

I highly recommend e-mail...in all honestly, they interview a lot of applicants and could potentially forget about you in the tiem it takes for your card to egt mailed. I'd just drop an e-mail and say "thanks....i appreciated your time. blah blah blah. i hope to be a part of 2011." 🙂

Forget all that e-mail stuff, what would you rather have... an e-mail or a nice professional letter in the mail? Which one take more time? Make sure its on some nice paper and get it out a few days after your interview.

To get ideas just google thank you letters to find a format, then cater you letter to each person that interviewed you.
For a basic format, something like this

I would recommend NOT spelling comfortable with the word "fart" in it (com-fart-able)

Dear Adcom,

Thank you for the pleasant and informative interview. I am convinced more than ever that the University of Puerto Rico is the Dental School for me. I look forward to receiving an acceptance in the mail.

I didn't send any "thank you's" and I got into both of the schools I interviewed at.

Dear adcom,

Thank you for giving me an interview. I really like the school and would love to go there. I know my father really wants me to go there too. I mentioned to my father that the school's facility is a bit old and he promised to make a huge donation to renovate it if I get in.

Sincerely
