That's it! I'm going to stop using... the iPhone

Why exactly is this a thread, and why is it in Clinical rotations?

Doesn't sound like you're asking a question or for advice on much of anything.

Aw, don't be a negative Nancy about my post, I think it is pertinent.

Why not in this forum? Do you use an iphone on the wards or an ipad? I'm just putting it out there that all the sheeple are using the iphone. We should use our brains when buying phones for work... not following the crowd. I just happened to notice that EVERYONE has an iphone... however I don't think it's the best for the job, and curious if anyone else has a good device they may use and suggest for the wards.

I for one, will buy a Galaxy Note 2 in about a month, and let ya'll know how it compares to the iphone.

I still say iPad is the best tablet you can use in any environment.

I'm a big fan of the Google Nexus 7. It's smaller than an iPad, so it fits better in a white coat pocket and doesn't weigh it down as much. It's also less than half the price ($200 for the base version) and can even outperform the iPad on some benchmarks.

Alright if that was the point of the post, then I revoke my previous comment.

I have a droid 2 global I got spring of 2011. Gets me through the day. Some of the things in the phone are being weird now, but nothing that interferes with daily usage.

I'll stick with this until spring of 2013, and get a free-upgrade with a new 2-yr contract from verizon. That's assuming I can keep my unlimited data plan (may have to get a phone w/o 4G)
