I have received an 18AA and 19PAT and wanted to have a forum of hope for those of us applying this cycle. If you were accepted with an 18AA or below please fill those of us in a similar boat below!

Why not just retake? Your chances of acceptance increase significantly once you hit that 20 mark. It's possible, but a very big gamble that I personally wouldn't take.

Solid advice, but not trying to open up that discussion and just want to see who has gotten in with those stats 😉

I personally know two individuals who were accepted last year with 17's AA. 3.3ish GPA's.

im 18 AA , 19 TS but no interview yet I wish I can retake but it is not possible now

Why can't you retake? is the date too late? ;(
I have a busy schedule and commitments on Augest and September so I cannot study those monthes. If I retake then it is must be in late Novemver so that I have October and Novemver to study which yes that would be late for this cycle.. if I didnt get in this cycle I will try again next year

got an interview at memphis UT. So there is hope. I have 3.8 Science GPA and 3.7 overall.

I'm not sure why it seems like people are trying to get you to rush the retake. You could still get accepted and everyone should know that you shouldn't rush it. If your not accepted take your time, and when you have the time to prepare for a retake go for it. I'm sure you already know this, I just don't understand why people are pushing for you to retake this cycle. It makes no sense.

Well tbh it's mostly QR that's hurting you. I guess they overlooked it? A 20 TS is pretty decent

yeah QR ate my soul! I only had a few weeks to prep for that section and Crack the Dat didn't do the trick. If I have to retake next time I'm going to give math destroyer and DATbootcamp a shot. I haven't had math in years and I feel like I've forgotten it all!

Dang! It's alright dude. It's clear that you know how to do the science section. Tbh, math is the easiest section to me since speed is the most important factor. Just practice and you'll get good at it if you have to retake! I wouldn't wish that nightmare upon anyone though lol. Retaking was such a huge pain 🙁

I know right! I've had cancer and I was more scared going into the DAT than going into surgery to remove a tumor! lol I'll prob spend most of my time prepping for it and RC/PAT. I didn't study for RC this time. actually guessed on last passage ran out of time. (luck was on my side)

any advice on studying for QR besides the material I posted earlier?

ps your scores are insane!
Honestly, I suggest doing daily multiplication/add/sub/div games to build up speed. As a kid, my parents wanted me to do math all day and I could easily avg 55-70 multiplication problems a minute. I probably still can tbh as I rarely use a calculator unless I know I can't do it in my head in under 10 seconds. It's about getting used to working quickly. Yes, there is a calculator but mental math is faster bc the calculator you get isn't that good tbh. Math destroyer and chads seem to be pretty good too. I did some of that the 2nd time around after neglecting math completely the first time but it didn't make a difference. I was probably just a bit careless again tbh haha... If it makes you feel better I enjoyed physics more than ochem.

Also damn that must've been rough 🙁. The DAT is a scary test. I literally drenched my clothing in sweat the first time I took it and it was the middle of winter... If you do need to retake, you'll have a much easier time calming down than the first time. At least, I'd like to think so
