the 2x2 photograph for the application

Hello everyone, I just realized that most schools require 2 x 2 pictures of all applicants...

All my stuff was sent a month ago, and I just read about the 2 x 2 photos on AADSAS "supplemental material" menu...

but none of the schools that emailed or mailed me told me to send a photo..

anybody know whether I should be nervous about this?

Some schools do ask for it, but I think they tend to consider your application complete even if you forget it. A handful of schools actually have spots on the supplemental application to affix the photo, but otherwise I don't think its a big deal. If you're worried about it though just call them and ask, thats the only way to be sure anyway.

and if you do need them, I recommend making them yourself, because this year I went to kinko's to get four printed up and they charged me 25 bucks, which is freakin insane.

i got mine at CVS - i asked for a passport printout. It costs $7 and I got 12 2x2 pics. The 7 bucks is for 2 pics but they print out an entire sheet and cut off 2 for you so i just asked for the entire sheet.

I went to target and used the kodak machine, its actually a 2x3, but I resize when I get home. But you get four per sheet and a sheet only cost .29 cents!!!

too late for me unfortunately, i wish I'd known. Hopefully people will read your post and avoid my costly mistake 🙁

took my flash card to rite aid and edited it there. Got asheet of 8 for $5 and sent the left overs to ex-girlfriends from high school so they know what they're missing.

UCSF takes your picture at the interview,
USC asks you to bring one with you to the interview
NYU tells you at the interview that they need one, so you should send it (if you have the chance, just bring it with you)
UNLV asks on the supplemental app. to attach it
