Hi all. I am posting here because I'd like an opinion from medical students who used The Berkeley Review practice exams to prepare for MCAT.

I recently purchased the 7-pack of The Berkeley Review (TBR) practice MCAT tests.

I am retaking the MCAT and I decided to go for TBR tests this time around because I read that they are more challenging than AAMC's and I felt that my actual MCAT in 2011 was significantly more difficult than each and every one of the practice AAMC's that I took. The verbal passages were significantly longer and I ran out of time on PS while I always had ~8 minutes to spare in my PS sections on the AAMC practice exams. Hence my decision to go with TBR.

For all of you who prepared for MCAT using TBR FL's, apart from technical difficulties:
1. How was your preparation experience, and how did the difficulty of these tests compare to your actual MCAT?
2. Was the TBR CBT's preparation worth it?
3. How did you do on your actual MCAT?
4. How did your actual MCAT score compare to your lasts TBR scores?
5. Do you have any other comment/suggestion for people currently preparing using TBR FL's?

Everyone's input is highly appreciated!

THANKS!

They are actually harder than the actual MCAT. I got a 38 (10, 14, 14) after using them.
