I want the pimpest PDA out there. Price is not an issue. It seems that these two are the ones competing for top honors......Our school recommended H5550, HX4700, and H4350, but, basically, anything with PocketPC.

Thoughts?

Hello

If I could pick one I'd get the H4350.

regards,
Leo

The reviews I've seen favor the HP slightly, but you have to decide whether the extra $200 is worth it.

I don't see any reason that would make me spend the extra cash. It's silly that your school only recommended HP models...they might some kind of reimbursement deal going. The Dell PDAs are very good. I'm happy with my x50.

Alright kids! A whole new Windows Mobile 2005 is coming out soon so make sure your state of the art PDA would support it. I've been looking for x50v for quite some time and can't find if it'll run on this new OS or not. Microsoft made some major changes to that OS so there is a chance that it will only work on hardware specifically made for it.

You might wanna hold off, or you will feel sorry after spending $600 on equipment that will be outdated in a month, and wait till the new OS comes out.

WM2005 is planned for the x50

But if you spend $600 on one, you're doing something wrong...like buying two of them or something.
