Hi All,
I had a few questions about my current plan of action...
I want to finish my pre-reqs this summer, take biochemistry and study for my MCAT in the fall of '08 and take the MCAT in January. How long does it take to receive your MCAT score so your applications can be completed?
I want to apply for the summer term to the big 4 caribbean schools. I thnk you can begin at Ross during the summer term but not sure about the other 3. If I took the January MCAT when is the earliest I could start in the caribbean?
Also, as far as I know at each of the 4 schools you only remain on the island for the basic sciences the first two years and do 3rd and 4th year rotations at hospitals in the US? I hear that at Ross you do 16 months on Dominica and then go to Miami for one year then rotations there or elsewhere...
Is this info true? Im interested in attending my two years of basic science in the caribbean and then comin back to nyc or long island, where my home is, to finish school. ANY INFO WOULD BE HELPFUL! THANKS!
