Well id like to begin by saying (alhamdullilah-thanks be to Allah in arabic). Religion brought me alot of peace before the exam i was soooo much calmer then i thought i would be. Second id like to thank alot of the ppl on here who helped me by answering my qs and boosting my confidence. shout out to all those who helped me....

Ok let me start by letting everyone know a little about myself. Due to the fact that we all have differing circumstances that dictate little aspects of our lives no one is alike and therefore you cant do wat someone else did and expect the same score (hell you might even get higher then them doin wat they did).
Im a sophomore in college, just finished orgo so its really fresh and i loved orgo. My orgo 1 prof. was trying to talk me outa dental and asked me to come work for him in his lab ( i killed the curve in our class). so orgo was somehting that just came....how????i have no idea...i studied a little but other then that it just made sense to me. Now as for the bio and chem...completely diff story there. Bio 1 i aced, (i have yet to take any upper level bio courses) I just have a love for it. i wont get bored reading about molecular bio and cell bio. BIO II omg.....😱 i was gonna kill someone....ok everyone i kno cheated in that class lol. well not cheated...we just had a really stupid prof. he made his test strait from the quizes that they have online so we had all the answers lol. SOOOOO I LEARNED JACK SH.T😀 surprisingly alot of my bio qs were about bio 2 (way more than i had anticipated). Chem...ehhh i got a B+ due to the fact i skipped ALL my quizes....apparently i didnt kno we had class friday morning and i just never went. I was 5 points out of 1300 from a A-, but wat can u do ehh?? chem II i liked, did well there. Now i was very eager to forget the material lol so i kinda screwed myself by having to put more time into studying.
Now lets start with the section by section breakdown.
PAT: OKKKKK.....now i have my own strategies on this section and they did wonders for me. i dont know how to explain them online, im better at explaining things in person. I BEGAN WITH A GREAT DEAL OF FEAR HERE. Y??? cuz ppl on this forum....or well to me overplay the level of difficulty. NOW my first CDP score (btw this software is a MUST!!!!!!) was a 18. And i had gotten really depressed and i didnt even finish in time. Now i read the my wicked sick pat tut. but most importantly you need to read the directions at the beginning of the section when you have time. <<(DO NOT DO THIS ON THE REAL THING
). Really understand wat is being asked of you. Barrons does a decent job with strategies. now my CDP score just started to climb after practice. they were 18-19-20-21-22-25-21-22-26-24. MY greatest weakness was angles i kid you not...all the sections i would get 15/15 and angles will kill me. THE ANGLES ON THE TEST ARE EASIER THEN CRACK. many times easier, you will deff. get some that are like crack where two angles just look exactly the same and thats when you close ur yes and then open them and make a decision dont think about it just make a decision!!!!!
keyholes: i didnt know the first one lol
. and some of them were a bit out there. i maked like 3. BTW its not like crack in the sense that there is alot of detail. the object are just very dynamic in shape, which i had to adjust to. if you are doin 12 or 13 on crack you are set for this section.
TFE: my absolute favorite section l i dont know why but i love this section and if you asked me to draw the figure for you lol i wudnt be able to do it but i can still get the right answer. u need to look for features that stand out!! WAY EASIER THEN CRACK!!! although one of the qs was just weird😕
angles: now after about 5 my confidence soared cuz it was MUCH MUCH MUCH EASIER THEN CRACK. except for maybe 2 or 3 qs. again u will get those stupid ones and like i said close ur eyes and open them then make a decision as fast as possible dont give urself time to rethink it. other then that good here.
HOLES: when i was hearing from ppl that it got harder i freaked out...but wow...this section was sooo easy...so much so that i was second guessing myself lol cuz i cudnt believe how easy it was. now as for the infamous"fold" where they just "draw" the line lol. i got that one and omg was it easy. not to give anything away. BUT u neeeeeed to understand that the FIRST fold is the most important!!!!
Cubes: real easy nothing like CDP very easy.
Pattern: well...hmmm....i had a really good strategy that worked for me so this one was pretty easy. alot like CDP.
All in all finished with 20 mins left...went for a piss and came bak to see the ones i marked then i left the test with 5 minutes left to start my break so my break was 20 mins. used my break to eat my snack and do my afternoon prayer, and went back in.
QR: i went in very fearful of this section. very fearful but to be honest im so upset at my score. I got 3 trigs 1 i could answer 2 i was completely stumped on and i had like 4 stats qs so i kno i got those wrong and i prolly had a few calc errors here and there as well. finished with 10 minutes left. had i known those stupid trigs and stats i prolly woulda gotten like a 22 or 21 . guys give this its time its not hard i promise its actually really easy just give it its time and you will see that it is really easy. KEY HERE, TIME MANAGMENT. Dont know Skip and MOVE THE HELL ON. I was really depressed by now cuz i had just come out oF HELL in RC. CDM i did like 10 tests scores were in the 19-21 range (btw wayyyy easier then CDM). Like i said confidence and wat type of qs u get are key here, oh and time. CDM i used mostly for time management.
RC: i was soooooooooo happy with my score. ALTHOUHG I KNOW I COULDA DONE BETTER HAD THE DOUCHE NEXT TO ME STOPPED TYPING. OMG IF YOU COULD GET SOME HEARPLUGS GET TTHEM!!! U WONT REGRET IT. First 2 ppassages were very easy crock and fungi then the third was just weird something about vision lol i didnt even read much of it lol. ok so the gurl started to type during my last passage so i cudnt focus and guessed on like half of the last 15 . the first 2 passages omg i know i killed but the last one lol wow....wat a trip....this really killed my confidence in math btw. There is a person on here i forgot who but he has a link, like a sig. with his posts says how to get a 24+ on the DAT. (THANKS BRO IF UR READING THIS-UR STRATEGY ROCKS) read wat he has to say u wont regret it. i completely bailed on it during the last passage cuz i was just ready to
listening to her click away like it was no ones business. I really just wanted to grab my key board and smack her in the head with it!!! Other then that i finished it expecting like a 16 15 and i could almost seee a retake in the making. but thanks be to God he saved me on this one l
Bio: well.....it was not sooo much RANDOM....it was jsut comprehensive. i got a little bit of everything and little more then i wanted of evo and plant sh.t and NONE I MEAN NO ENDOCRINE QS ZERO-NATA!!!! I spent sooo much time on that crap!! i got like 1 exp. qs had no idea wat it was lol so i just guessed. For bio i recommend the flashcards for kaplan. I went through cliffs once and kaplan once. destroyer like twice. NOW...wat really helped me with bio is my wall (il see if i can get a pic of it up. I basically printed out all the figures from the chapters i reviewed in the campbell book and pasted them on my wall. ) ill really try to get a pic up soon. I dont recommend wasting alot of time here cuz u are without a shadow of a doubt gonna get one or two that are just gonna be like huh😕 and the diff is like 3 points. So FOCUS ON CHEMS!!!!!
Gchem: WOW lol i am super upset that i got a 23. it was my weakest section but omg that section is a giveaway on the test lol!!! SUPER EASY. destroter was way over the top. AND LIKE JOONKIM SAID, know wat name goes with wat symble, i kno i got two wrong cuz of that! Sorry buddy i didnt heed ur warning. other then that omg it was soooo MUCH EASIER THEN destroyer sooo much easier. now all i used was kaplan blue book destroyer...did the prblems like 3 times. BTW do it the first time crunchig numbers and the second time use a calc. cuz u wont need to crunch number on the real thing. TRUST ME U WONT. i also skimmed through examkracker for the MCAT chem book.
Ochem: honestly.....all i did was destroyer like twice and thats it. and btw destroyer WAY OVER THE TOP. although i had like two qs that were verbatim from destroyer here. know ur IR NMR and sep. teq. I think the acid base sep is important so go over that, its a favorite on all the tests i took. other then that it was super easy.
Destroyer. Let me say this, if you do not have this book then go out and buy it. Someone on here once said the book is worth its weight in gold....and they are absolutely right!
as for me guys im just gonna chill i got school in 2 weeks i plan to go on a road trip till school starts maybe go to NYC.
Im a florida res. and not applying this year. My GPA is like a 3.9~4. im just getting into my upper level sciences and i just gotta keep my GPA up and keep doin my shadowing. I do research for a organic chem lab from time to time but other then that im just gonna chill and work on my app. this year.
I will be happy to be of more help just PM me. Ill prolly add more later.
for everyone who is still studying, all i have to say is.....STAY CALM!!!
