How many colleagues not required to participate in MOCA do so voluntarily? If not, do you meet all or most of the requirements?

I would think that only those who have a specific secondary gain in mind would choose to. E.g., Wannabe ASA or ABA officer, Wanting a subspecialty certification, Part of an academic department where there is pressure to do so, changing jobs, etc.

grandfathered types have a low risk choice. Non grandfathered types have a high risk choice.

It’s like saying we have a choice to either jump off a bridge or not. Either way, at least it’s a choice.

Why did they need to say anything? Saying anything can ONLY diminish their own credibility.
