Hey guys, quick question for ya.

Back in High School I took AP Lit, got a 3, and tested out of my university's english requirement for freshman year. BYU also has a senior English class that I just took, 3 credits.

Some schools, like Creighton and Utah, require 6 semester hours of English, and they do not accept AP classes. I just realized this (applying in a week) and have a few questions because of it.

Do classes with the abbreviaton WRTG (writing) count for an English class? Is this something I'll just have to call every school and ask?

Do you think it's possible they'd allow me to substitute one of my many philosophy or my 1 sociology class for the 3 credit hours? I assume I'd have to call each school.

And last, when you apply to your schools do you list the classes you're still taking? I'm taking second half of biochem/physics/ochem lab so my application is obviously incomplete. Do they just accept you contingent on finishing those last classes?

Thanks guys, this is a pretty funny situation because I'm usually really well prepared for this stuff. And it's kind of ridiculous because I got a 27 on my RC section of the DAT, I think I'm pretty well set with this kind of stuff, haha.

-You're going to have to call the schools to ask.
-No substitutions are usually made unless you call or email the school to confirm it with them, I would also bet that they would NOT allow that substitution.
-Yes, you list the classes you plan to take. If accepted, you are agreeing that you finish everything with roughly the same tier performance you have been doing.
