I can't tell if you are oblivious or trolling me.

I stated a blanket statement. There is nothing to be wrong about. I did not say "my dear chaps, do you know what this table means? It indicates that step 4/X is scheduled for 2016.

Simple truth:

Additional steps = additional revenue.

If you believe that additional steps don't make more money for these entities, well... alright.

Stop trying to extrapolate my point to other topics. You come off as argumentative...or bored.

For the love of God, it's not an additional Step. USMLE Step 3 is already 2 days. The only difference is now each day is "named" one 3A and one 3B, but still 1 single score. And no, the price has not changed this year even though it's split. How difficult is that for you to understand?

Yes, if ANOTHER Step were to be implemented yes, it would bring in additional revenue. Right now there ISN'T ANOTHER STEP, so it's not.

Hey, as long as it's still 2 months, 2 weeks, 2 pencils, I don't care. US MD grads have never had serious problems passing Step 3, and since the score is all but ignored by everyone, meh.
