The highest risk factor for suicide = previous/recent attempt, right? (USMLE)

Pretty sure being over age 60 is a huge risk factor as far as age groups go
 
HAHA I thought this thread title was saying that a recent or previous attempt at taking the USMLE was the leading risk factor for suicide.

Sounds accurate.
 
I always feel like answers along those lines are just cop outs. Yea, we know. Obviously if someone tries to commit suicide once, they are probably going to try it again. Just like if you get one divorce. I'm willing to bet that a person who smoked crack once has a greater chance of smoking crack again compared to a person who never has.

I call it the "breaking the seal" type answer.
