Hello SDNers,
Over the last 2 years we have worked very hard with our team to develop this product. I know from experience that it was very frustrating to have only a limited amount of study materials for this exam.
Our goal in creating this CD package was to fill the void that we felt existed for Predental students with the current study materials.
Now to comment on some of the issues that I have read on this forum. We experienced some small glitches on our website that we have for the most part fixed. This was due primarily to the fact that ADEA.org put our advertising up 10 days prematurely than planned. We feel confident that by mid-week all issues on the website will be resolved including any security concerns with personal information.
In respect to the question errors: we have over 2400+ questions in our DAT suite currently that have been written and proof read. That said there is going to be a small margin of errors that we need to be made aware so we can fix. The reality is that sometimes with anything new you are going to have small issues to resolve. Unfortunately, we do not have the luxury of our competition with years and years to work through their errors.
But we have made a commitment to fix these errors and to provide you the best product.
1.) We are giving $20 off your total purchase price on every question that you bring to our attention. This is more than any other competitor and a commitment that we want to make this software perfect and fast. Why do we offer this? Because we know that our customers will help us reach our goal of developing the most reliable DAT software and study aid available.
2.) SOFTWARE UPDATES: We have created our software so for each of the sections of the exam you simply download a file from a link we provide and that section of the exam will be updated. This basically means that any errors that are brought to our attention will be adjusted and all you have to do is download this file to have the Latest Version. This process will take about 30 seconds after downloading.
3.) There have been several questions about the way the tests are scored. We realize there are some elements that may be confusing right now. We are going to correct this in the next update and include the SCORE SHEET as the final source for providing you a STANDARD SCORE. This will be generated automatically for you. NOTE: we have received some suggestions that I think will improve this and we are working on implementing that as well.
Originally, our goal was to launch a physical CD to mail out like our competitors, however we came to the conclusion that having a preliminary download version would be ideal since just like all first versions there are always technical and question issues. This was a concern of ours since we started thinking about developing this product. The blueprint was to make it a drag and drop updating which we have successfully done. With in minutes you, regardless when you purchased the software can update the test battery if any changes were made. No other company offers this ease. If an error is found only the next batch of CDs will have the correction. Not with KSF as soon as an error is found it will be updated and emailed to everyone who has purchased the software so they can download, and drag and drop into the software instantaneously. However, as a company committed to providing the perfect product we are sure that one day this updating feature will no longer need to be utilized with the help of our customers helping us find and resolve the errors.
Overall, I would like to thank you for all the support emails we have received. We are going to try our best to get rid of all the bugs to make this EXAM suite as perfect as possible. We have made every effort to create a solution that is easily updatable so you always have the best materials to study from. We ask for your help and patience.
