OK, I'm very excited to finally receive something (GW invite) but I really need to know if 119 is a good deal or not for a hotel and shuttle to the campus. I feel like I need to make plans today or tomorrow.

AND DAMN MY ROOMATE FOR THINKING A SMALL ENVELOPE WAS A REJECTION AND HIDING IT FROM ME!

Congratulations! I can't wait to join you in the "this is my first interview" thread🙂 I'm not familiar with DC, but the shuttle to campus seems like a great thing. One less thing to worry about.

Just fyi-- I live in DC, and GW is very easy to get to-- it's right on the metro. So, as long as your hotel is anywhere near a blue or yellow line stop, you're good to go (look for the foggy bottom metro stop on a map, if you want).

Congrats DoctorKevin!!!! Good luck with GW!!!

OK so whats reasonable for a hotel without cockroaches but for a guy who can handle pretty much anything with clean sheets and shower and an iron?

that's not a bad hotel price. Congrats DrKevin, and good luck on the interview!

Rock on DoctorKevin. Hopefully I'll join you with the first interview in the next few months. That price sounds great to me, especially if you're going from San Fran.

Yay i got my first interviews to Tulane and Temple today, woohoo😱

I can finally join. I received my first interview from Temple today. I guess there is love for the under 30 mcaters...😀

I would try to stay with a student host, if at all possible. Most schools offer this. They can offer an invaluable perspective on the school, plus orient you to the campus so that you make it to your interview on time (invaluable for the directionally impaired like myself!). Plus save you beaucoup bucks by the time the interview season has passed. Congrat s to all who are getting interviews! 🙂
