I recently got a copy of the AAMC MCAT official guide. Is any of the problem on the book from AAMC 3-10 FL's? In that case I wanted to hold off on going over the package until I'm done with the FL's.

Also, I heard that the questions on it are much harder and also are new type of questions compared to the AAMC FL's. For those of you who've already gone over the book, what did you think about it? Thanks in advance!

i also have the guide.. haven't used it yet - waiting for the week right before my test.

from what i've heard, the passages are entirely new and do not show up in 3-10. as far as the difficulty, i have heard that they are more difficult than the released aamc's but are pretty comparable to the difficulty of the real thing nowadays.

I have done most of the passages in the guide, and I actually think there is only one redundant/ similar passage (in the biology section). However, I remember the Physics portion being fairly difficult, the bio section being at par, and verbal being very easy.
